Come out and watch some great ultimate

There is a great opportunity to watch some high level ultimate this Saturday, May 30th at LaSalle High School. Three of Canada's top womens teams Storm, Lotus, and Stella, are having a mini-tournament from 10am-5pm.
If you've never had the chance to see ultimate played at a high level, I really recommend checking this out. Not only is this a great opportunity for women players looking for some inspiration, but I think most people would benefit from seeing the strategy and effort that these elite players put into the game of Ultimate.
There will also be some refreshments on site (pop and snacks) to help with fund raising for the expense of the tournament.

Game Off

Unfortunately given the amount of rain we've had already, and the forecast for this evening, all league games are canceled for tonight Wednesday May 27. Please do not use the fields as our permit requires that we stay off them in heavy rain.
For those wanting to brave the rain to play pick up, you are welcome to use the field at Tindall from 5:30-7pm and 9-10:30pm. This is for pick up only, regular games are all canceled (it would throw off the rankings and schedule if only some teams played and other didn't)
The schedule that is up now will not change - this game is simply not played and the rankings will be based on the games that are played.
Lastly, the BBQ portion of the Elixir is canceled as well. You are welcome to go and enjoy the cheap drinks with no cover, but there will be no food.

Pick Up Ultimate

There will be pick up Ultimate this week on Wednesday night at 6pm and Sunday afternoon at 3pm at McCullough Park (see the fields link for a map of the field).
Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you are in the league or not, and regardless of skill level (in fact pick up is a great way to learn more about ultimate)
