Women's Ulti

The women's clinic is now rescheduled for July 25 6-8pm at Caton field. We've reopened registration for those that are interested. To register log into your league account and you will see the link to register in your dashboard.
As well, on Monday, Aug. 8 we will be running a free 7v7 women's scrimmage. This is intended for women who have played ultimate before. The scrimmage will be followed with a social (at the fields).

The city has cancelled the use of grass fields today, so the women's clinic and pick up are now cancelled. We will reschedule the clinic to Monday, July 25 6-8pm.

Women's Ultimate Clinic

We are excited to open registration for our second Summer Women's Ultimate Clinic! Come enjoy the beautiful July weather with 2 hours of skills, drills and scrimmage with your fellow KU ultimate women. We have a fabulous contingent of experienced women's ultimate players ready to help you take your playing to the next level!
This clinic will focus on vertical and horizontal offensive strategies for 7 vs 7 ultimate.
Experienced players will have the opportunity to learn and practice advanced handling positioning and movement within the vertical and horizontal stack framework. You will also learn and practice specific plays in drills and solidify these concepts in a scrimmage.
Emerging players will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of vertical and horizontal stack offense and how they can be used effectively in a game. You will also learn specific plays and how they can be helpful in creating open space for cutting and creating effective flow on the field.

Rain Policy

When the weather is questionable please check the web site. I will post the official word by 4pm Wednesday to the web site, Facebook and Twitter. If you don't see a post by 4pm, then games are on as scheduled.
Please use common sense. If games are on and we get hit with a thunder storm, stop the game and use the Use the 30/30 rule: When lightning is observed, play stops and the time between the lightning and thunder is counted. When you count 30 seconds or fewer between lightning and thunder, leave the field and take the appropriate shelter IMMEDIATELY. Remain sheltered for 30 minutes after the last peal (or sound) of thunder.
Also, if the fields having standing water on them or are soggy and are likely to get damaged then stop the game.
