Juniors and Co-ed Registration Open

Posted by Joel on July 27, 2020

We have now confirmed fields with the city and registration for our remaining programs will open Aug. 1 at 12:01am. We will do our best to get everything up and running so that we can start all games the first week of August.

Registration for Juniors will end at 11pm Monday, Aug. 3

Registration for Co-ed will end at 11pm Tuesday, Aug. 4

During the registration process you will see additional information surrounding our Return to Play policies concerning Covid-19. We apologize in advance, but there is a lot of information there and we ask that you take the time to read through it carefully. We want to ensure that everyone who registers is comfortable with, and will adhere to, the policies outlined.

To register please log into your league account here

Juniors
Caton North (fields 24/25)
Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm Aug. 4 - Aug. 25

Co-ed League
Wednesdays 6-7:30pm Aug. 5 - Oct. 14

Given the way Phase 3 is structured, we plan to run 4 Co-ed leagues instead of one league with 4 tiers. Each league will be comprised of 4 teams of 12 players (6 men and 6 women) and there will be no crossover between leagues. This will keep each league under the mandated maximum size of 50. Games will be played 6 v 6 with an even gender split of 3:3.

All games will be from 6-7:30pm to start the season. This will bump to 5:30-7pm in mid September as the days get shorter.
-KU Co-ed League 1 – very competitive (most players have played on touring teams) Caton (field 22/23)

-KU Co-ed League 2 – competitive (some players have played on touring teams or are experienced players) Caton (field 24/25)

-KU Co-ed League 3 – recreational (a mix of experienced and new players, less focus on skill and strategy) McCullough (field 7/8)

-KU Co-ed League 4 – Casual (mostly newer players or players less concerned with competitive games. Less focus on skill and strategy.) McCullough (field 16/17)

To keep the potential exposure of Covid-19 to a minimum and abide by the government cap of 50, we are asking that any spectator(s) or child(ren) not enter the field area proper. If someone not registered to the league wants to watch the game we ask that they stay at least 10 meters from the field proper.

I realize that many players have kids and it isn't easy to find babysitters these days, so please feel free to bring your kids, but set up their play area 10 meters from the field.

Expiry Date: Thursday, August 6, 2020
