Captains' Information
We require a minimum of 12 players on your team with a 6/6 gender split. If you don't meet this requirement, we may need to add players to your team. Keep in mind there are 7 players on the field with a 4:3 or 3:4 gender split, with the receiving team choosing the gender ratio each point. Given vacations, potential injuries, etc., we recommend teams of 15 or 16 players.
When you register as a captain, you will be charged an additional $50 cone deposit—this will be returned to you at the end of the season when you return your cones.
Please choose your prefered tier. We'll do our best to honour your preference, but may need to shift you. That said, there is always an opportunity to shift up or down tiers throughout the season based on your record.
Tier Descriptions
- Tier 1
Very competitive (most players have played on touring teams). - Tier 2
Competitive (some players have played on touring teams and all are experienced players). - Tier 3
Recreational (a mix of experienced and new players, less focus on skill and strategy). - Tier 4
Casual (mostly newer players or players less concerned with competitive games, less focus on skill and strategy).
